Harlan (“Chip”) joined the firm at the end of 2015 as an Of Counsel attorney. Licensed in 1999, Chip has nearly twelve years of experience as a litigator, both in commercial and criminal courts.
He currently represents and counsels clients in corporate, business and franchise litigation. Realizing that litigation can be very costly for clients, Chip looks for alternative litigation resolution methods, such as negotiation, mediation, and arbitration. When those methods do not achieve the desired results for the benefit of the clients, he effectively and aggressively pursues his clients’ interests at all stages of litigation.
Chip graduated, from the University of Florida Honors Program in 1990, with a Bachelor’s degree in History. In 1997, he earned a Juris Doctorate from Mercer University School of Law.
He is a member of the Florida Bar and has been admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court.
Prior to joining Walsh Banks Law, Chip was a stay-at-home dad raising his son, Zachary.
